Does anyone want to discuss his performance in the feature at AQU today?

The horse figured to win anyway but this super-horse performance smells of a suspicious Dutrow move-up to me.

The horse always seemed to have some ability, but his record was so gappy he must have had a series of physical problems that prevented him from developing. This is the kind of horse Dutrow tends to excel with. Problems magically disappear and the potential comes out in a huge burst. I thought that was a very high level performance despite the mediocre competition. They might be better off not abusing him much in the winter and pointing towards bigger races in the spring and summer. Another R. Dutrow miracle. What can you say? It\'s hard to not be suspicious, but if he\'s cheating they need to actually catch him.

Agreed. You can\'t penalize a guy on suspicion, even if there seems to be a pattern. You need hard evidence like a positive. Unfortunately the chemists are still ahead of the stewards. That\'s why they have to come down harder on the ones that cheat when they screw up and get caught. Make sure they\'re guilty and then throw their asses out.

At least the pros in NY keep it on the pro level, unlike, say, Nebraska...
