It wouldn\'t hurt if anyone in Southern California that has posted on this subject on this board-- or anyone else that cares about drugs in racing-- showed up at this meeting and made themselves heard.

TGJB,

while this is a nice first step, it is state specific. usually this will drive some trainers to more accomodating venues. We need a national and uniform rules to make it better.

Tony-- you have to start somewhere. In racing, no-one wants to lead, but a model program would be a big step in the right direction.

I like it -  this  means that \" game on \"  is for real this time  and based on what I\'m hearing on the TG Board and from that Bloodhorse.com article ( thanks for link + ) my bet is the CHRB rules committee gets it done on January 9th . The proposed CHRB guidelines for Class A pentilities look\'s like a winner ...

I agree Jerry. You know the first knee jerk reaction is for some outfits to ship out, but you are right you have to start somewhere.

I think we agree we really need a national governing body with uniform rules but lets take what we can get.
