I remember back when Jerry qualified he said Cali was one of the tougher states on Drugs, as that  was one of the reasons why he chose it for the Contest. Guess it turns out as far from the truth as possible, that Cali is still a very suspect place to bet your money.

Tony-- haven\'t got time to go into this at length right now, but that\'s not exactly what I said (it was specific to Santa Anita, a certain time period). Aside from that, the article has to be read very carefully-- some things don\'t necessarily mean what they first appear to, and very little of it is \"sourced\".

BUT-- anything that lights a fire under the industry is good.

I noticed that, too.  When one dissects it down to measurable fact, it\'s a bit thin.

But agree - the more something like this engenders outcry resulting in increased oversight, the better for all.
