are you guys posting a 4th pick in case of scratches? and I am assuming that you must specify which part of the entry you want, as the only reasons for entries involve wagering, which we are not doing.
in fact, in a contest like this, you must not allow the selection of entries. selecting an entry increases you chances of winning, without getting the penalty of lower odds; no handicapping thought involved.
You can post alternates for scratches. I think you are correct on the entries, pending Mr. Patent\'s review. HP
Geez, At the last minute after I\'ve posted my selections you guys don\'t want entry\'s? An entry is an entry-one betting interest and its no lock an entry will finish where someone has selected it to finish.
I have only one entry on the card in my main selections and two entry\'s chosen as alternate scratches and its too late for me to change it, I\'m going away now for the weekend.
Whatever you guys decide I\'ll have to play by your late changing rules so If you guys want use the first horses that I listed if its decided not to allow entry\'s. But this insignificant detail if it is so important should have been decided before today so now my vote is to accept an entry.
Any reasonable person with an understanding of the type of contest we are playing here would not have included an entry in his selections.
Well don\'t feel bad Phil. I\'ve made my choices and I\'m about to put them up and I\'m not including the entry horses as entries, just single horses.
I would have to agree with Michael here. You pick a horse, and if his entry-mate wins I think that\'s \'backing in\'. In a contest like this, entries constitute a \'two-for-one\' sale that can give a winner to someone who had no intention of playing the \'other half\' of the entry.
Since Patent made the rules, I will abide his decision on this. It\'s not his fault I have to post early. I\'m tough but fair. HP
I have complete understanding of the contest and its rules so I must be unreasonable.
I guess I should have just automatically assumed huh. My frustration is that this entry issue could/should have been agreed upon before today just like all of the other rules of the contest.
Use the first horses I listed then for my one entry selection. Gotta go.

I\'m with HP and Michael. I assumed it was obvious that you pick a horse, not a betting interest since we are scored not on the parimutual results but the results of how individual horses run.
No entries. If you pick an entry I suggest that you get the first horse in the entry as your entry in the contest.
