Anybody think that there is a chance that Biancone and or his owners reconsider,
and enter Gorella in the F/ M Turf?
Speaking of Biancone and Gorella, Gorella prepped for last year\'s BC Mile with a
3rd place finish in Keeneland\'s QEII Cup, earning a TG 6. Two weeks later, in the
BC Mile, she finished a troubled third to Artie Schiller, posting a TG 3.
Biancone\'s 3YO entry in this years F/M, Mauralakana, also raced in the QEII at
Keeneland. She finished 3rd from post 11. Both TG and DRF seem to agree that she
was 6 wide and bumped at the 5/16ths pole. For this effort, she was given a TG
of 5. Will Maura show the same improvement as Gorella did? If she does, is it
enough to make her a contender?
One more fun French fact-- before Gorella was turned over to Biancone, she was
trained in France by Jean De Roualle, who is the trainer of Satwa Queen.
I thought that horse was a definate Go in the F+M Turf . If they saw Gorella\'s sheet , it\'s a no brainer - perhaps Biancone is taking a \" Marginal Line \" approach ...
Rounding out the Quinella - Lukas is another who \" used \" to leave horse\'s in the Barn who had superior sheets to that of those he ran , and it might be one reason why he fell from prominence ... Easy come - Easy go for alot of these guy\'s I guess ...
Was just wondering this morning if Premium Tap will run a new top at odds of aprx 30-1 in the Classic ...
