Title: Woodbine offering therapy for struggling couples...
Post by: docicu3 on September 20, 2006, 02:41:17 AM
First it\'s the cute little colored numbers \"showing\" me rather than some Godly voice telling me why I am losing my money in the next 1 minute and 10 seconds....

Then it was the \" special guest star\" in the Woodbine mile when P Val jumped out of the cake and into the winners circle again as he just so happened to be available and in the same province when Corey came up \"Shame\" no I mean lame at S Anita the day before.

Now we have the Woodbine powers to be handing down a 3 year suspension to the comedy team of Evans and Leigh for their best imitation of Ike and Tina Turner\'s hit \"What\'s Love Got To do With It\" as the Woodbine racing commission shows us where the morals and scrupels of an industry lie......it\'s okay to be an addict on the lam hidng from the law rather than committ the unpardonable sin of adulterey.

You can\'t make this stuff up for sale as no one would believe it could happen.....I\'ll just have to listen to ATRAB and find out the real truth on this one......

Shaking my head again...

Can you elaborate on the on the non PVAl part of the story a little?

Not sure what happened.Guess you had to be there to get the point.

Story gets coverage in Thursday\'s DRF. The issue that had to be dealt with was not the adultery, but the harrassment of an employee by management (ex boyfriend).

Coincidently, also read Bergstein\'s piece about Canada\'s tough stance on drugs.

Very strange and odd way to run a business.

Racing has absolutely no \"True\" standards accross te board.

Not sure what they did for PVAl was wrong or right. (I\'m sure he raced clean).

Not even sure the two situations are even analogous. There are allegations of pysical abuse and all. Just very strange decisions made accross the board in Canada.

Stan\'s article was a very interesting one if you can believe someone really will do something.
