the shugger must have some go-go juice too, MOYA? ARENT DRUGS GREAT.
Cubfan,
This horse figured to me. What makes you think he (SHUG) needed juice to pick up 0.75 of a point with off of a slight forward move off of a few pairs (toss the off the turf effort)? He was within 1 point of all the fastest runners comming off of a very wide effort off of a yeilding track and Grade 3 to boot!
And this is SHUG after all, he usually has his runners geared up for this meet.
We should not loosely associate drugs with logical forward moves.
I really understand the \"DRUG THING\" is real, but we need to be careful how we claim it\'s being used.

genius, the horse won by 5 lengths. does this mean every horse regressed 76 lengths.? too funny
nct has an excellent point , an 2 pt top (aprx) was not unforseen regardless of what others did in that race . the pattern looks like that of a horse who may be coming back around after a health issue - perhaps bleeding through lasix medication and now is straighened out ...
This was not quite comparable to the 5pt jump to neg 4 of Shug\'s distaff champ last fall or probably even Good Reward\'s 4pt jump in the Hollywood Derby in 04. I\'d still defend him, maybe naively, before the other 20% guys on the magic potion issue. One thing I certainly wouldn\'t do though, is interfere with Cliff Floyd making a play on a foul ball 5 outs away from the world series, no, that would take a real genius.
Cubfan-
Have you looked at the replay or the chart? I take you must be not be able to look at things realistically when you get beat and learn from it. Look I could get down and dirty with you but I\'m choosing not to.

The horse she beat was the horse with the 8.3 going off at $0.95-1 vs Moya (at $11.9-1) who Ran a 9.2 in a G3 race very wide. What if the horse doesn\'t have to go 4W4W this time and doesn\'t run wide? The horse typically showed some early foot for positioning in earlier races. LAst race ran wide in a G3. As it turned out the Fractions were the slowest of the weekend 26.1-51.3 and 1.16.1. Although we don\'t talk pace on this site, the pace was slow and this one sat second off a slow pace. And like I said this horses top was only less than 1 point off the other horses in the race tops.It\'s my opinion that young 3 yo\'s can still improve as the year goes on. Doesn\'t Shug have a good reputation with fillies and mares ? Pine Island, Pleasant Home..Storm Flag Flying, etc etc etc
Look at the sheets of the race and learn something, instead of spouting off and calling me names. I had that one in my P4 sequence which led to a nice payout. That\'s what this game is all about - finding value.
See ya
