Title: Timeform Conversion
Post by: Linda on July 01, 2002, 08:20:24 PM
At times I have seen references to a formula which converts timeform numbers into approximate sheet numbers. Does anyone know what the formula is and how it was derived?

I don\'t know about a formula, but there is
a conversion chart at: www.chef-de-race.com
Hope this helps!

Thank you for trying to help, but the table compares performance figures, Beyer figures, Timeform, BRIS Ratings, and Equibase Ratings. It does not convert Timeform or any other ratings into approximate sheets figures.

As if the free drink from Phil is not enough of an incentive, I know the secret formula & I\'ll it write down on a piece of paper & hand it to you at Siro\'s after the card on opening day.

It looks like I\'m going to be up there myself with some pals opening week, but probably won\'t get there until Thursday. Once I\'m sure I\'m going I\'ll confirm here, and will buy a round myself at Siro\'s for all with a TG set.

The Chamber of Commerce has a website (saratoga.org) to help with lodging. I love soft shell crabs and had the best of my life at Sperry\'s last year, and there are lots of other good restaurants. We don\'t have seats yet ourselves, and I hope your secret formula has an age/sex adjustment. Alan will be up the following weekend. He says you guys can buy your own drinks.

What, you don\'t give Alan a company expense account?

No, he might use it.
