Title: vet history
Post by: 1st time lasix on July 19, 2006, 10:56:42 AM
In a game with numerous documeted cases of milkshakes, juicing and banned substances...isn\'t about time the vet\'s name appears on the form? Just having the names of vets linked to the horses might slow some of this illegal nonsense. It also might give regulators an idea who to watch. We have trainer stats....why not vet stats????

In a perfect world a vet listing would be wonderful...oh but wait a second..
Can\'t you just see all the owners wanting a particular vet because he can now be charted.
Can you now see all the vets competing at the highest level ,regardless of rules ,laws or mores?
Do the vets want to be exposed to fan and public scrutiny??
Do the track owners want to give these medical guys any more authority, notoriety, and scrutiny?? Or is all they ask is have them ready to race as often as possible, and then disappear with their magic elixirs and spent syringes.
But all said..I\'m with you 110%
