the radio show and discussion about the rev was very interesting . they made some good points pro and con . jockey eddie king made an appearence on the show and really added his expertise and insight  to the discussion as did the other guests   .

jj , samm and crew also invited jackson on to the show to present his side of things on the air - we\'ll see what happens ...
i didn\'t realize to what degree the union is in disarray w/ only 1/3 returning ballots .

 my  feeling is that this is probably not the best thing the jockey\'s guild ...

Marcus....looks like the jockeys are alot dumber than the gamblers...if thats possible

dr - very well put - i began to realize how weak the position of the jockeys and guild are when i was watching a ky race last winter that definately should have been cancelled due to inclement weather which resulted in a bad spill and the death of the jock .
 the track had already completely washed out ( as evidenced by previous races on the card ) and was under water , it was clear to me that the surface could not be used for racing at that point - the race and the balance of the card should have been canceled   ...

Ironic that JJ gets involved with jocks/CD. Slavery issues are right up his ally.
