After 4 months of on-line advertising that they would carry Royal Ascot, TVG has pulled the plug on this. In addition, while the decision was made on June 9th not to carry it, they have failed to inform anyone of this fact and I - along with many others - assumed that the English races this week were Ascot. I only found out that it was not to be when I called to asked why they were not carrying opening day.
So, at this rather late date, I am asking if anyone knows of an international site where I can bet and watch Royal Ascot on-line. Ladbrookes will allow me to bet and listen, and At the Races will allow me to bet and watch video replay 2 days later. But I would ideally like a site (open to CA which is why I asked for intl) where I could actually see the live action - horses and betting.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
On their homepage, brisbet says they are covering Royal Ascot
thanks, but I live in CA and we are only eligible to enroll in 3 off-track betting companies - TVG, XPress and Youbet. Prohibited from anyone else in US.
that\'s why I asked for an intl firm with live video available outside of UK and Ireland restrictions.
Deb,
Try the Racing Post Site. There's a fee for live videos but I think the replays are free within minutes – at least they were for the Epsom Derby. They also have PP's.

The Sporting Life has free live audios

I believe bet365.com will accept american clients. They will give you a live attheraces stream on a per race basis if you place 5 sterling on the race with them. Check with their customer services.
Thanks guys, but live racing is only available to UK subscribers on both the Racing Post and Bet365 sites. And I can already get the live audio with my Ladbrokes account.
The Epsom Derby was shown on video as a Race of the Day on both Racing Post and At the Races, but that\'s only one race a day (if they choose Ascot and they don\'t always choose the biggest track), and it doesn\'t give me a view of the horses in the post parade or galloping, nor the live odds on track.
If American racing fans saw and heard what the Hong Kong Jockey Club, At the Races, and France Galop provide on-line and free for their racing cards (from \"video\" form of past races, narrative analysis, pace and speed figures, \"create your own categories\" statistics on pedigree, trainers, jockeys, owners, tracks, etc., and \"informed\" live analysis) they might stop betting American tracks!
I was told just now by a friend of mine that he watched at least one Ascot race on Youbet this morning.
Deb, you must be getting up awful early to watch and bet those races in California. Better you than me.
yea, there\'s an ad once you log in to youbet that says \"join us for the Royal Ascot meet 6/20-6/24...post time 9:30 est\" (free pp\'s).
Noticed the 7 horse paid 103$ to win in the 6th thia am. Asfufh
Thanks Jerry...
I hate Youbet and have closed accounts twice with them before. However, after seeing the prices on 2 horses I thought would be 3/5 and even money (Araafa and Ad Valorum) that paid 9/2 and 2-1; and my best bet of the day, Elhamri (the Noverre \"clone\") winning at 20-1, I will re-activate my Youbet account, since greed trumps principles in this case!
At the Races now states that the races are available live and online to international customers, but after paying the one month fee I still got the same message that said it was only available to UK subscribers. I\'m waiting to hear back to find out when the intl option will be activated!
OMG! That $103 horse was the Youbet price on Elhamri!
