Note how at a mile how much faster the Acorn Fillies ran and they had a significantly longer run into the teeth of the headwind. The Belmont Stakes Rats started with the tailwind and came home with it.

This group of Belmont runners is undoubtedly one of the weakest bunch of runners to ever lay foot on the Triple Crown Trail. It would be very easy to bet the top four will never win again, however they may be running against themselves for several more races and that is their saver.

We can bet against this bunch vs. their elders with conviction. Amongst themselves its a coin flip.

Belatedly looked at the payouts from the Belmont, though it doesn\'t change the appraisal of the crop, congrats to those who cashed that race. The exacta and Trifecta were certainly fair.
