looking for a \'3\' or so to win this.
adieu makes sense with the \'3\' last. looking for a pair.
bushfire has a big \'1\' top at kee, and a decent \'3\' last. dangerous.
teammate has a nice top going 9f. cuts back off the layoff.
hello liberty ran a nice \'3.75\' last on short rest. rested up a bit, aiming for just this spot.
ermine was my pick in the oaks. dangerous with the series of runs in the \'3\' range.
...
i will go with hello liberty, as her last puts her close, and she\'s 10-1. has the tactical speed needed on today\'s track.
HL , not a bad call - i thought about that one too but settled on WLAL ...
the bushfire # was real i guess.
i never transfer kee form to bel. i guess you have to today given the speed favoring nature of the track. i used her, but only underneath hello liberty. tough beat.
Mike D,
He certainly did not run a TG 1 today and I think Beyer and Rags will give him a better fig today than they did in the Ashland.
Mike
i usually don\'t jump on kee #\'s in ny races - but in this instance i felt while the 1 was good ,
it wasn\'t like a typical kee number either ...
Mark,
I used him because speed was playing good but it didn\'t matter since Jazil(eligible for nw 1x) took me out of the pick six and pick four.
Mike
the surface looked hard , the inside seemed far from golden - how\'d you see it miff ? i felt jazil was awefully close to having a deteriorating line - and maybe he does and still ran that race . i didn\'t like him at all ...
Mark,
I never gamble on deep one run closers, this one got me. Jazil ran the best race of his life today, that\'s racing.Slow rats are gonna get you sometimes.
I thought speed/up close was the style for the day.

The figure will be great grist for Debate. The jockeys choose wide. Was inside that negative?
My personal opinion? We just saw the worst Belmont field since 2000. The raw number and closing fraction will indicate otherwise, but these rats were slow and they sucked.
Its looking more and more like this crop sucks. Hopefully I can retract that if my Derby interests return running, but right now don\'t care for any of them.
Watching the races it seemed that most of the big moves were made on the turn. Because I believe that there was a headwind in the stretch.
the stakes field did seem dull and the \'06 TC crop appear decimated . i doubt any of these win in the bc . i\'m seeing so many wide trips on both coasts these day\'s and i\'m guessing the jockey\'s have good reason to belive that they\'ll still have enough horse under them to compensate for the added distance to their course - i\'m just not sure exactly what that reason is , any idea\'s ?

Remember a horse named Pleasant Home transferred her Kee form to Belmont last BC...
NC Tony
Hi Tony,
PH improved by almost ten lengths going from the Kee surface to the Bel surface.
That filly didn\'t get the chance to run a route on a dry surface all year until that Kee race. I think she was ready to pop the big one there, but was compromised by the track. (all in hindsight of course).
