Maybe \"The Voodoo Mile\" would be a better title for this race:

Mass Media - Bobby Frankelstein, .43/.24

Sun King - Nick Zitofield, .30/.17

Bandini - Toddini Pletcher .19/.30

Silver Train - Blackstone Dutrow, .18/.26

Sir Greeley - Dunninger Jerkins, .32/.25

Whose Mojo is the Blackest? Get good odds. Have to think Silver Train is sitting on a big race, but at 6-5?

The Mets look really tough untill you take a look at the Shoemaker - thats gotta\' be one of the toughest ever , if it were run at Hia , I\'d be damned if someone didn\'t get starteled by a pellican or even jump the rail to the infield to get a drink in the pond .

Favs will get hammered in both races though no matter what happens . The Met has a few trying to recover from running negative numbers -
Mass Media has gotten back in previous form cycles before , so he could hoodoo the voodoo is my thinking and Sun King\'s negative numbers haven\'t set the horse back too badly either .

In the West Coast feature race ,  I\'m trying to make a case for Diamond Green 1st and the 2 horses inside of him , Terroplane / Charmo  both to run 2nd & 3rd   ...

hi marcus, i have heard a lot of people say the favs will get pounded, if that happens so be it. but i see a wide open odds board with a lot of surprises.

hr  -  Predicting where the money will go in a race is not one of my strongest suits  -  I\'m working on it though and on the experience side ( of handicapping ) , I come up lite so I know not to be assumitive about anything and coincedently , I was  talking to Al just yesterday about this very same thing .
My comments about odds were not totally obligatory becouse they do bet them down pretty good in NY and while staying the course , it\'s very difficult to find value . shanahan likes Sir Greeley and he does look one worth taking a look at .
It\'s a very talented field in the Met and now possible showers are in the forecast late afternoon , but I\'m going to watch the race even if I don\'t bet it ...
