Title: Preakness Odds
Post by: Michael D. on May 19, 2006, 06:56:53 AM
offshore, approximate:

barbaro - 4/5
bro der - 3/1
SNS - 5/1
Bern- 11/1
LN - 12/1
greely - 19/1
dia - 37/1
PC - 55/1
Zito - 64/1

i\'m with bernardini at 11/1. 5/1 on SNS looks good as well.

Most off shore accounts will offer prop bets as well, got Jazil at +130 just to finish in the top 12 for the Derby.  No props posted yet but should be by morning of the race.

You should take greeley\'s Legacy coming off a Wide KEE at 19-1 underneath what you like.

Tony,

28-1 now on Greeley. I will use him underneath. Bernardini is around 14-1 now, so I will keep him on top. The super is Ber/SNS/Barbaro, Bro Der, and Greeley (maybe Zito). I will also have SNS on top on some tickets. Good luck.

i thought barbaro ran one of the best ky derby\'s i have ever seen, and i would gladly give back this 22g super to see a bernardini/barbaro rematch. just a tragedy.

as for bernardini, i do think we are looking at a freak here. he eats up so much ground with every stride, and if you examine the bottom of his pedigree, it\'s likely he has a larger heart than the average thoroughbred. and the speed on top of that!!!

godolphin might have something special in discreet cat, but other than that, i don\'t see anything out there that can run with bernardini.

bring on the derby plodders and sunriver ............

Michael D.

As the race was winding down, I was sure you had the exacta etc.

Very Nice Score- You will forever remember it.

thanks Tony,

it was a lot of fun watching castellano and bernardini explode around the far turn.

it wasn\'t any fun watching what followed the race, or collecting.

i\'ll be much happier collecting on bernardini at 7/5 in the belmont if barbaro makes it ok ...
