Title: SNS
Post by: Tony on May 03, 2006, 04:56:54 PM
I might end up kicking myself but I am starting to get lukewarm on SNS. I am afraid he ran too fast and he is the wiseguy horse and you know they never do well.

Tony,

Why worry about what everyone else is thinking? Does it really matter? Bet what you like, even if your reasoning may be wrong .

Tony:

The reason you feel bad is this horse has one decent race, where he inherited the lead on a soft pace, ran the middle quarter in 25 seconds and then had enough gas to come home in 24 and change. The 4 f to 6f quarter in the derby will be 24 seconds, meaning SNS could be 10 lengths back in the far turn.

Can he close????

You probably worry like me that this horse hasn\'t shown the ability to come from mid pack.

I have been anti SNS but he still scares me.  Desormeaux\'s experience is a plus.

Tony - If he\'s what you like about the race - go with him so long as you get your price . It wouldn\'t be crazy thats for sure ...
You got to figure the horse hits the board at least to fill out the tri or sprf . I think SNS\'s main problem now is ground loss - he easily could be 4-6 W on both turns  w/ less than 3 leanths separating 9 or more horse\'s on or near the leed all the way around the track , it\'s going to be dicey on the front end . He\'s 3rd or 4th on my top 5 list , right now  Im  wondering whether Keyed Entry will run big off a near 02X pattern and if late foot runner(s) Storm Treasure / Jazil can run 3 pt+ top\'s and save ground ...

Does the horse know he\'s a wise guy pick? Nope

Did the horse work 1:11 and change over this strip? Yep

Is the horse doing really well? Kasept would have to answer that but I think he told us all a few days ago \"Anyone leaning in his direction is advised to NOT DEVIATE\" from that thinking

Will Desormeaux try his hardest to win the race? Yep

Will he get a good trip? Hope so

Is he a probable winner? at 7-1 or higher I will say yep

This horse is special. He\'s proven that.

Go big or go home!!!!!!
