Did he say BD is a toss? What is he smoking? On paper this is the best horse in the race. If he trips out its over.

And if he would have picked him, everyone who have said oh look Beyer is picking the fav. wow. I\'m tossing BD also.

That was bold, even for Andy. He\'s gotten awfully cocky with his spotty record. I guess he feels strongly about that part at least. I can respect that. Tend to agree this will be no unchallenged pace cakewalk like Bro has been facing out West. Bro Derek may be on my ticket for 3rd and 4th. I may even minimally perfecta him lightly with my top choices, but if he is favored he\'d be a very good horse to miss the board.

Tough call to make before the draw . If Beyer was using Thoro-Graph numbers to base his opinion I might be able to understand if he said the horse reminded him of Editor\'s Note or something  ...

Who has accomplished more, or who does the Derby set up for?  It certainly doesn\'t set up for a head-strong speedball who\'s benefitted from small fields and glib SoCal racing surfaces.
