Just curious - In ( most ) years when no fillies run in Derby , does that necesarily mean the colt crop is strong and the Fillie crop weak ?
In years when a fillie does go , is that an aboration unrelated to better or worse years for breeding ?
I got Balance in pool #1 at 26-1 and in pool #2 Diplomat Lady at 52-1 , so my potential Derby superfecta play is going around the track friday ...
