My impressions from one look at the headons: a very bad start, bumping soundly; bearing out on the far turn, from the rail to the 4 path, slight bi and bo in the stretch. With his SLOW mile and last 8th fractions, I\'d be a more than a little worried about his phsyical state and his ability to relax and get the 1 and a quarter. Also I thought Step runs him down with a clean trip and definitely with more ground. Agree... Disagree?
disagre...as an eye witness, and avid follower of this horse/trainer, and having seen the outside rail horses on the lead get caught in the stretch, McKee went to the 3 path around the far turn, and that was smart - see Gascia / Morner race for support of this. The other poster has me wondering about PVow, though...
by the way, Alan...great call on that one! I was singling Morner until I heard you with Jason.
