Title: Such a deal....Santa Anita, March 12th
Post by: Delmar Deb on March 02, 2006, 12:42:37 PM
Officially, it\'s billed as Ladies Day at Santa Anita on Sunday, March 12th.

But men are welcome too, and based on reservations to date it seems that you guys are just as good as the ladies at recognizing value.

TG\'s Roger Neubauer will be participating along with DRF\'s Brad Free and Jay Privman and HRTV\'s Jon White.

You can\'t beat the location - the menu looks great - and the handicappers are priceless!

If you are going to be at Santa Anita that weekend for the DRF/NTRA handicapping contest, think about taking your wife or girlfriend along and leave her with us for the day.

I\'ve included the informational flyer and menu below...for reservations and information, call 1-800-574-6401

Sunday, March 12th, is Santa Anita Oaks Day, with the focus on 3 year old fillies and women of all ages!

In the spirit of fashion, fun, food and fortune...we are presenting a program to please both the experienced and casual racing fan...along with opportunities to win prizes and the races with a little help from our guest handicappers:  DRF's Brad Free & Jay Privman; HRTV's Jon White; SA's Mike Willman; and TG\'s Roger Neubauer.

The California Equine Retirement Foundation (CERF) will have their "Moneighs" on display.  This artwork by famous racehorses will be profiled in an early March issue of People magazine and you will be able to see pictures of how some of our own California thoroughbreds produced these masterpieces!

No luncheon would be complete without a fashion show.  The isabel morgan hat company from Del Mar, CA will be showing their new spring line of custom and ready-to-wear hats for upcoming events such as the Santa Anita & Kentucky Derby's.

The entire package - including valet parking, clubhouse admission, track program, all day table seating & buffet lunch in the Club Court, favors, prizes, escorted trips to the paddock, & professional handicappers to advise you - is priced at only $26.00!

There must be someone coming from Lexington for the SA Oaks who would be happy to give you a seat on their private plane...Doc Allday maybe?

LOL!   I\'m a vet, but no longer for horses ... I\'ll have to go hang out at the airport, see who\'s parked at the end of the runway, and try to fast-talk my way in
