I can\'t find your selections for the contest but I hear you made two bets: Forbidden Apple and Gygistar to win. Am I mistaken? Anyway, finding a couple solid plays and making them is the way to handicap. It may not always win you a funny money contest, but it demonstrates acumen. Congrats, I heard you won. And you beat the piss outta me Belmont Day...lol

Congrats Nunzio - way to kick some ass. Gygistar was my big play of the day too. Preakness Day it was Sarava (wish it would have been my big play Belmont Day).

Alydar,
OK, I get it, I\'ll stay out of the way.
With that said though, I will bet my mythical 1000 on two races.
500 to win on Gygistar in the 8th &
500 to win on Forbidden Apple in the 9th.
Good Luck.
Nunzio
Congratulations Nunzio. I was glad you won. You\'re a gentleman, and this is a gentleman\'s game. HP

congatulations to nunzio. a few months ago, i remember him posting about the topic of drugs in racing and how upsetting it was to him. he mentioned that \"racing was in his blood\", no pun intended, and that he continued to handicap anyway.
good luck
HP,
Thanks. Right back at you !

Both selections made a great deal of sense & by taking the \"conservative route\" you dusted the field. My hat\'s off to you & I wouldn\'t mind meeting you for the Sar contest. I do wonder what you thought Gyg\'s odds would be before the race & whether you had your own line on what Gyg\'s true odds were for winning the race.
Mall,
I thought he\'d be 3-1. Motts horse (fav)
needed the lead to win & first time in a stake seemed like a good bet against.
With Forbidden Apple, I thought he\'d be eyeballing Frankels horse through a moderate pace and his experience at the distance plus
his fondness for BEL & softer turf made
me think 5-1 was OK for him coming off a layoff.
Nunzio
I really never expected to see 4-1 on gygistar
