$30K for it\'s first year....sorry, but what are they thinking? Healthwise, he barely made it to any races....one big win, and ....out?
The answer is what are the people thinking that breed to this creep!Bloodlines are about fully extended, it\'s all meds, meds and more meds.

Grade I and 3 time GII winning millionaire is worth something I guess. Funny how they\'re now using Beyer figs to promote stallions with RR earning 106 & 103 as a 2yo. By Fu-Pig and the RAN line, lameness built in...not worth $3k.
Forgot to say if it were not for the meds i would be looking for another job.
thanks vets.

Interesting how we so often comment on the frailness of the American racehorse. When you think of how the drugs (legal and illegal) are weakening the breed, and how a horse like Roman Ruler (gosh, there are so many like him) do a little bit of racing and then go right to stud, it does make you wonder.
Lately, I\'m obsessed with Austrailian racing and that amazing mare \"Diva\". How many American horses could run 2 miles in 87 degrees and 97 percent humidity without lasix?
They\'ll run two year olds against five year olds down there, mares always against colts, and the horses will often run two or three times in a week or ten days; I mean, can you really think of any American horses who could do that?
I had to laugh when I heard Trevor Denman on NBC saying how a four year old will always beat a similar three year old, referring to Flower Alley and St. Liam\'s stretch duel. What the hell difference would it make at this time of the year?
And Roman Ruler, and so many others, can pass on their brillance and incredibly weak consitutions to their progeny. That\'s a bad formula for the future, I think.
And Coolmore can sell us back the blood they\'ve been accumulating for the past decades, tested and tempered in a hotter fire than we have here in the States.
