I was keying Host and Artie Shiller in the race, win bets on both and boxed in the Exacta, and they were my play for the race in the Pick 4. It looked like Host was in a winning move entering the stretch with a hole or two to the outside when the jock took him to the rail behind a WALL of horses; he was stopped completely and then came on again...thought he\'d win or be right there. Don\'t know what the jock was thinking going inside midway in the stretch
A friend of mine bet Host, so I\'ve watched his trip a couple of times on the replays. I\'m not sure Bejarano had any better options. I think he started looking to get outside at the top of stretch, but never found a seam to do so. With no way to get out, he just kept riding inside and hoping something would open up. Nothing did, and he got stopped.
