Title: Stats for Wet Turf
Post by: spook_express on October 26, 2005, 06:59:52 AM
There\'s been alot of talk about the wet turf and rightly so I think. Just go back and watch Starine two years in a row in the BC.  Like night and day on firm vs. wet.

Wouldn\'t it be nice to have sire stats regarding how progeny do on wet turf versus firm turf for cases where the horses don\'t have alot of experience on firm turf???  Seems like a querry that shouldn\'t be too hard for someone with the right database.  I hear Theatricals are bad on yielding turf which could hurt Shakepeare\'s chances.  I would love to see his offspring\'s stats for firm, good and yielding and see for myself.

Spook,

Tomilson put out \"off\" turf stats for years and they were useful. Unfortunately, they were discontinued when he began to publish his figs in DRF.
