Title: Pampered Princess
Post by: kev on October 21, 2005, 10:13:48 AM
Anyone think this mare is on her way to a X. PP is coming into the BC with a 0-X-line she jumped up what 4pts, 3rd race in less than 8 weeks. This will be a price play, if the odds are good enough I guess it\'s worth adding her in. What\'s too low of odds for this lady??

I would pay very close attention to the odds board.I think she was ready to fire at Keeneland. To answer the question of the x, i would say yes. Alot of horses run huge at Keeneland.

Congaree 1---

Why would anyone use any dirt prep races run over that surface? Have any of the Keenland preps ever led to anything of use in either the Derby or the BC??

Good Luck,

i forget the numbers, but keeneland prep horses have an abysmal BC record.

For what it\'s worth  and those with short memories- The most winners from Kee historically in BC races were in the Distaff (Princess Rooney 84, Life\'s Magic 85,Sachuiasta 87, Bayakoa 89 & 90,Spain 00 & Unbridled Elaine 01) and in Juvy Race both Colts and Filly versions (Colts) Tasso 85,Boston Harbor 96,Fav Trick 97,Answer lively 98 and (Fillies) Eliza 92, Countess Diana 97,Sliverbulletday 98, Cash Run 99. There have been Grass winners as well but no Classic or Sprint Winners have ever run a Kee Prep and gone on to win. For sure you won\'t find a classic winner prep at Kee becuase they don\'t run a Race for this type of horse this time of Year.
