Title: Mad dogs and Englishmen
Post by: bdhsheets on October 09, 2005, 07:00:41 PM
Saturday night at Charlestown, Michael Dickinson was dreaming of Da Hoss, when he entered A Huevo in the $500k West Virginia Breeder\'s Classic at 9f. Coming in off a nine month layoff, he had a -1.5 last year in the same race. Bet down to 1/2 fav, he barely made it under the wire 1st time as Dominguez pulled up A Huevo, under severe distress and was vanned off.

Hope he\'s okay.

Dickinson may be called of alot of names and no doubt has been the brunt of a good many joke\'s and ribbings but the chances of Dickinson racing a horse before it\'s ready to run are too remote to even consider  . - MD if your out there , we all feel your sense of loss over this recent tragic event .

Boy Charlestown has so many issues with it\'s footing. it might be a perfect candidate for Polytrack, if they are willing to spend the money.
