It certainly is a tricky one - both favorites are not the fastest horse\'s going in and if one could decide that those horse\'s will not move up against today\'s competition then their are a few horse ( breaking from outside posts ) that get consideration and conceivably get used becouse of competitve numbers and price . However , the unknowns in this races are in no short supply and it looks like the Shadwell will only be a good betting race if you can come up with the winner at a generous price .

That horse may be Cool Conductor... Should get footing to his liking as the two poor efforts since addition of Corny were on less than firm turf, and figs are right in line. Price an added plus...

Shaconge: good stalking style..fastest back#..trainers\' meal tix.,runs too freq.,has danced every dance for 3 yrs...came in 2nd 3 back at 4/5..lost by 1/2 length, ran a 6 so no value can come from this hoss.
     Inter:same as brown...picture taken 4 of last 6...runs mile races...ugh!
Wend:young meat..throw out last and #s leap out....shotening up either due to distance or Mott looking at b.c. race for her ...has great tactical ability w/jock that can neutralize p.p....Wish I knew morning line, but definitely my girl

PARTYpokerON!

Cool Conductor is one w/ fast enough numbers , will be good value but the pattern doesn\'t knock me out , I realize however that one can\'t have everything and CC is reasonably solid , my only concern is that since no improvement has been shown after the 2nd 4 yo race that a cycling out phase is also what is potentially in the offing now .  I may look for 3 or 4 to box if i can get huge overlay prices on the exotic payoffs , we\'ll see . No doubt CC is a  live horse , specially if your comfortable w/ the odds . Durban Thunder is another who if a big price today wouldn\'t be too crazy a play to throw in .

I\'m going with again another slower horse, but he looks like he might be ready to push forward in here. AD VALOREM.

I\'m anticipating or more over , hoping for a 2-3 pt move up in 1st start NA , it\'s not an angle as potentially explosive as let\'s say 1st or 2nd time lasix or an 02X pattern etc , but they do seem to like it over here  .
Title: Shadwell/Futurity oddity

Kid Lemonade scratched out of The Champagne to run at KEE in the Futurity..

That means he\'ll take to the track a race ahead of HIS BROTHER... Ad Valorem!

Hope they both run well too, as it would be a nice boost for Calumet.
