Hoping for the Champagne but I doubt it will be it
Won\'t be the Champagne, I\'m having trouble finding one that is interesting from a TG discussion point of view. I\'m going to look at the Sunday races after they draw them.
Come on jerry, what about the shadwell thats the most open race this weekend part of the national pick 4.
Open isn\'t the point. ROTW is a teaching tool, and I pick them because there are points to make about things to look at on TG that are different than the public perception-- weight, ground, patterns, etc. The ideal situation is when we can point out that a horse that looks good to the public does not to us-- my guess is that if you made a list of all those short priced horses we said were big underlays or bet-againsts, they would come back with an ROI of less than a buck for every $2 bet.
Leroy notwithstanding.
The problem is this-- a few months ago, Thoroughbred Daily News picked up ROTW, which gives us a much wider distribution, reaching lots of people who previously knew nothing about TG. The bad news is that I am now limited to 700 words, and can\'t be too technical for fear of talking over newcomers heads.
TGJB---
How about the WinStar at Keenland on Sunday? If not, the Spinster looks competitive.
Good Luck,
Joe B.
jerry we don\'t want to be taught we want to make money
Dude, I don\'t know if that is the correct way to ask. Anything that is free is extra in my opinion. I AM trying to learn about these and appreciate that the main person at Thoro-graph takes out the time to do something like that. You don\'t see Ragozin doing that and Thorograph will eventually gain a customer because of this gratitude.
ROTW will be Winstar Galaxy, Sun at Kee. Working on it now, up later tonight.
