Scrappy T should blast this field- hoping he\'s near his ml of 5-2,but expecting even money.Searching for the exacta filler.
Southern Africa went in the toilet last time off the 0.5 and will probably be 3rd choice
Don\'t get Mad is logical but if he runs second the race isn\'t worth betting
Thors Echo can\'t seem to get over the 4.5 hump-why will he now?
Purim turf to dirt is interesting
Greater Good could improve off the bench.
The rest seem hopeless.
See I\'m going to go with Thor\'s Echo something seems like the right time now for him to push forward. So. Africa at 6-1 is a nice play, I don\'t know if those odds will hold up. I really don\'t like Don\'t GM I think he backs off that 1.3, just cause its close to his top and the fact he didnt get back to it. It\'s sort of like a 0-X-2. Scrappy T I just don\'t know, he\'s coming off of a layoff and who knows.
Don\'t worry about the layoff and Scrappy T.They aren\'t going to Hoosier Downs to use a 500k race as a tightener.Stalks Thors Echo and leaves him at the top of the stretch-now who runs second??? I don\'t need Southern Africa or Don\'t Get Mad-too short.I\'m hoping it\'s Purim turf to dirt-might pay 40 bucks.
Purim on top of Scrappy for me...
Heres a question about SCRAPPY T.........you have a horse who just ran 2nd to the hottest 3yr in the land and you lay him off for 17 weeks.....Was he hurt?? If not why so long coming back, they might be using this weaker race to see where they stand.
Scrappy is well meant, if he\'d of stayed sound they\'d of made a million with him this year. They still may.
But you\'re right, they may not have figured it out. They suspect a deep muscle issue and hired White Mercedes per Delmar Deb. The question is, did they get it?
If hes right, hes gonna be tracking Thors Echo and perhaps Apache and will be very tough. If they didn\'t get it, he could miss it all.
He figures to be favored on this. It will be interesting to see what he goes off at. They\'ve had him at Colonial, Saratoga, Bowie, they were considering Mountaineer. They\'ve held off until now.
This wasn\'t a freshening. It was an issue. Its a question of faith and fitness.
I liked SA last out, gotta take him here at 7/2
