On 6/2 I made what I think was a very reasonable proposal for a mano a mano handicapping contest over at least 2 days for a min. $1k stake, although I have to admit that I also went on record that it was 1-10 that you would accept any challenge involving more than bragging rights. Your \"response\" was a nonsequitur, in that you suggested that I was attacking or disparaging Robes(who I didn\'t even mention), although you also claimed you weren\'t going to be around the weekend after the Bel. Fine, how about 6/20-23 at Mon, where we could meet & see if you are anything more than a pain in the you know what? Or perhaps you\'re anxious & would like to tee it up in the Acorn. I\'ve looked at both sides now & I think that we may have very different views re how this race will turn out. There\'s not much time, but I\'m pretty sure I can be at Bel tommorow if you\'re ready, willing & able. How about it?
let\'s see if I can sift through this --- I might need a beer.

you apparently have your own weird slant on reality based on many strange assumptions.
what culture were you raised in?
I hate to appear xenophobic.
I didn\'t suggest you were \"attacking\" anyone.
you suggested The Sheets office hold some stake for us --- why you drag them into this, I still have no idea.
if you want to follow jerry\'s lead, and just mail them a $1000 check, I\'m sure they\'ll be happy to take it, though.
you lost me on that last line.
I only registered on this board because I like contests --- they\'re fun.
after this one\'s over, and the triple crown\'s done, I won\'t have much incentive to stick around here.
did you follow that?

hmmm....
first of all, if you even know who\'s running in the acorn, we\'ve already got very different views about it.
now, am I getting this straight --- you\'ve invited me to give up my weekend and fly to NJ, or NY, for the great privelege of competing w/you in a handicapping contest?
I think you\'re losing me again.
wait....let me suck down this beer and pop another one --- I\'ll try to synch w/your worldview.
by the way, we\'re having a handicapping contest on this board for belmont day, if you\'re interested.
rules posted elsewhere.
I admit to posting under the influence last night, but let me suggest that you lay off the alcohol, which is contraindicated with psychotropics. When you \"responded\" to my original post, the 1st sentence was along the lines that TG users have a hardon for Friedman. I don\'t, & I\'m sure you understand that it doesn\'t really matter who holds the stake as long as we both agree. When your response to my suggestion to a real $$ contest the weekend after the Bel is that you weren\'t going to be around, I don\'t think it\'s entirely unreasonable to think that you were referring to something other than this Bd, which is why I tried to, & am still willing to, accomodate your schedule. I\'m also willing to help with your airfare if that\'s the problem, even though mine will probably be higher.
Your posts imply that you are a Rags user & having looked at both for the Acorn, my thought was it would be a good anecdotal test of the products & our handicapping skills. Besides, if you were at Bel Fri trying to win some money, then you wouldn\'t be able to post & everyone else could enjoy some peace & quiet. In other words, I figured I could make some easy cash & perform the public service of shutting you up for a day at the same time. Too bad for everyone that it wasn\'t to be.
the board can enjoy that after the weekend (most likely).
unless I win....
This is it. Chicago\'s 1/2 way & I\'ll be there for the Arl Million & BC. I\'ll even get you tix since I assume that good seats for events like those are out of your range, so to speak. Why don\'t we also agree that the loser pays the winner\'s airfare? I think that covers all of the excuses you\'ve been able to come up with so far.
that\'s why they don\'t want you driving in your state -- blurred vision.
And your last post is consistent with all your previous ones, which vividly demonstrate such an amazing lack of maturity & judgment that I would still very much like to take you on in a real $$ contest. My plans are already made, so the 1st week at Sar would be fine.
Let the planning begin.... first Saturday of the Saratoga meet (live contest). We could make it a two day thing, up to everybody who is involved.....as for the winner of the contest, I think the guy who had the 28 bucks on Sarava won easily.
you should check his score against nunzio --- I think he had 500 on a 4-1.
