Post by: Silver Charm on August 13, 2005, 01:46:08 PM
Was buried two weeks ago by a no paced Diana.

But buried them today with a handridden Angara in the Bev D.

I hope you didn\'t break your arm pattimg yourself on the back.

Unless you\'re telling us this because you plan to buy us some sheets, we don\'t care.

Your post would of have been interesting if you had posted 5 hrs ago and detailed what you liked about Angara. BTW, if you loved Angara how did you not nail the DD?

P-Dub my arm isn\'t broken but my mouse finger is from hitting the repeat wager button. No DD for me I played Forty Niner Days. More on him later.I put this up two weeks ago and I\'m sticking to it but only if Biancone backs off and runs this filly maybe one more time, say the Flower Bowl, before the BC. She has already run enough this year.

Also Martin Swartz since I cast the first Eclipse Ballot in your corner if I ever come looking for you for some Investment Banking.

Just remember, you owe me one.

Top Breeders Cup Filly & Mare Turf quality field upstages Jim Dandy on outstanding Saratoga Card. Selections and analysis in reverse order.

Angara-Best Bet of the Day as the rubber band will coming off for this one. Displayed European style explosive stretch kick in Keeneland allowance win at current distance then wheeled right back with facile victory in Bewitch. Was too confidently ridden in Sheapshead and found little running roon thru entire strech. Effort in Manhatten was signficantly better time wise than New York and beaten only 1 and 3/4 by ground saving winner. Explosive burst will make the difference for future BC Filly and Mare Turf winner

LOL.... I like the mouse finger line.  Now that you mention it, I now remember that post. But damn you, you should have reminded me.  I really liked Powerscourt, but the double didn\'t pay much more than a parlay.

The favorites all lost the big races at Arlington. I also liked Gun Salute today. English Channel packing high weight and the BO in last. The price made him a must play IMO. I had to have a friend place a few bets for me at the track, especially when he told me the odds. I have A\'s weekend tickets and with the way they are playing right now, I can\'t pass them up. Unbelievable.

Nice score Charm, loking forward to Travers Day.

If anybody wants to know if TG is worth it or is a handicapping product they should be using.

All they need to do is go into the RedBoard room and look at the figures for Gun Salute, English Channel and Purim in yesterdays Secretariat.

And then look at the prices Gun Salute has paid in the last two races against those other two.

Its days like yesterday that have me walking around looking like Bob on the Enzyte commercial. For about a week.
