Title: ROTW + Question
Post by: jimbo66 on July 28, 2005, 08:07:48 PM
Geez, the Diana sure would have made a more interesting race of the week.  Flower Alley at 4-5 looks like the winner.  But what can you do about it?  The race is unbettable.  Exacta?  I guess multi-race bets are the way to go.  Single Flower Alley and find the winner of a deep Diana.

The question to T-Graph is if there is \"time ?\" for a race, what exactly does that mean?  That T-Graph thinks the time of the race might be off and thus the figure is off?  Or that T-Graph thinks the time might be off and has already accounted for that discrepancy in the figure provided?

Thanks,

Jim

I like him also, HP, but when was the last time a Manitoba bred won a graded stake in the US?

\"Time?\" means we got a significantly different time than the official time, and used ours. \"S. Pace\"means we think the pace was slow enough to affect the final time, so I\'m cutting the race loose, and doing it off the horses-- 99% of the time it happens in a turf race, where the surface is faster and the pace slower. I\'ve noticed that Beyer is doing some of this as well, and that\'s how Time-Form has to do all races-- they don\'t have fractions to work with, courses are up and down hill, and they crawl early as a matter of course.

I\'ll take Mr. Congeniality at anywhere close to 15/1 M/L.
