Title: Computer Model Odds Line for ROTW
Post by: derby1592 on June 01, 2002, 01:53:02 AM
Below are the \"break even\" odds according to my sheets-based computer model (TG figs are the major input). According to the model, this is a very competitive race with 4 horses looking very evenly matched: Macho Uno, Evening Attire, Include, and John Little. Based on the morning line, the obvious overlays are Evening Attire and John Little and the biggest underlay is Mongoose. The rest appear to have very little chance to win with the possible exception of Griffinite.

Good luck to all.

Chris

Interestingly, perhaps to me only, is how close my true odds line is to the one you posted. More interesting to anyone who has been keeping track of your posts of computer generated odds lines should be their uncanny accuracy in identifying the value(vs actual odds of course) in the races you have addressed. Based on your line vs another questionable ML, what do you think is a optimum betting strategy for this competitive & interesting contest?
