Any opinions out there on this horse? Pine Bluff couldn\'t quite get the mile and a half, but there is plenty of stamina on the dam side. Also, the BRIS dudes gave him a huge late pace # in his May3 race. I am still more inclined to favor him in races up to a mile and an eighth, but with Jerkens training him, who knows??????

I appreciated it when handicappers look for value, and I am sure that thats what you are doing, but I gotta tell you, War Emblem will be a deserving even money favorite and will have to snap one off, fall down or get a bad ride to lose.
I know I have posted that no horse has won the Triple Crown without training in NY, but Baffert had been down this road a few times and records are eventually broken.
Puzzlement was the logical 2nd place finisher to Sunday Break in the Peter Pan and there was nothing else in the race. The fast fractions were due to a tailwind on the backstretch. Have not seen the TG fig yet but on the Beyers, Sunday Break was not very fast.

I agree somewhat with your assessment of WE, but I would add one more scenerio in which he could lose the race: if he runs the last quarter in 28 seconds. Of course there is no guarantee that will happen, but I am searching for some alternatives just in case it does happen. Puzzlement is not at the top of my list yet....just throwing out some names looking for some feedback....Cheers
