not an original thought, but i haven\'t seen it posted here and would be interested in jerry\'s thoughts.
i wonder if there would be any value in thorograph providing racing jurisdictions with a list of trainers with a suspicious percent of jump-up numbers first or second out for a new trainer. these would then be subject to random supertesting. an interesting thought experiment nonetheless.
I had that conversation with Scott Waterman a year ago-- he\'s the guy behind the supertests and other stuff in Kentucky. He knew all the names (both trainers and vets) before I told him.
