Why get too caught up in the PREAKNESS when EDDINGTON looms in the Pimlico Special??
BADGE OF SILVER is unlikely to get a 1 3/16 and POLLARD and FUNNY CIDE will most certainly be overbet.

Eddington was 4-5 in the Oaklawn race so it\'s hard to be too optimistic about any kind of value yet, and can he run big outside of Fla? on the other hand getting 4 lbs from Funny Cide and an honest pace to run at... very tempting indeed
I wouldn\'t worry about getting value on Eddington in the Pimlico Special. Is 5-1 value for you?
Badge of Silver will be favored, Funny Cide will take money, so will Pollard\'s Vision, so will Offlee Wild and even Presidential Affair will take money off the huge beyer and perfect local record.
Whether he runs well outside Florida is a bigger question than if there will be be value.
The pace looks like it will have to be very fast, as there is a ton of speed. So Eddington could get the right scenario there.
My point exactly...we cannot worry about whether he will like the track at say, 4-1.

funny cide returns to glory...
During a party at the Gault House, I was told that Grand Reward was using the race on Oaks Day as a prep for the Pimlico Special. That tricky D. Wayne.
Maybe Wayne will try to sneak him back for the PREAKNESS and say\'s he\'s really GOING WILD.
After he wires the middle jewel, Lukas will explain it by saying \"we win these type of races because we stick with our program. GOING WILD has had excuses in all of his losses, that\'s why we never lost faith in him. This horse would be going for the Triple Crown if he didn\'t have so much dirt kicked back at him in the Derby.\"

After further review, I stand corrected. It looks like Eddington is guaranteed value. He could even be 6th choice in here considering the jock factor and the disapointment in his last. The hype before that race was pretty strong but maybe died down by now, and many others in here to grab attention.
