Title: It's not what you know it's how well you know it.

There is an article in the NY Times this morning stating that one bettor at the Meadowlands bet $2,000 to win on Giacomo.
He took his $102,000 in cash and refused an escort to his car.
My kind of guy.

Yeah, he was overheard mumbling to himself before the race, \"Let\'s see, I need to make $100k on this one, so,do I want to bet a $20 exacta or $2000 to win...  Oh, what the h---, I\'ll just put it all on the nose.

My kinda guy, too. Thanks for posting that, it was fun to read about.  raz

i was with a guy that hit a 104k twin tri and demanded it in cash.  he said he didn\'t bet with a check and he wasn\'t accepting a check.  he took it home in a popcorn box.
