Did anyone else notice that the race went off 12-14 minutes after scheduled post time?
Did anyone else notice that none of the Derby horses were cut loose from their ponies and allowed an extensive warm up?
Lets quit crying in our Rheingold and get to work on The Preakness, which should be a wildly competitive race with many of the entrants (and all of us) seeking redemption. Or maybe we can root for Giacomo to win the Triple Crown and \"sting\" Visa for 5M in their last year of offering the TC bonus.
Off to Fla for 5 days golf, which is every bit as frustrating as handicapping.

No, didn\'t notice that. There was no gallop to warm up?

If Giacomo wins the Triple Crown, I\'m retiring from handicapping. His fastest coming in was a 4 I believe. He obviously went forward, but it was a field collapse similar to the Wood.

When dad outdrives you tell him \"thats as rare as Giacomo winning the Derby\"
CtC,
If you review the sheets carefully and \"re-adjust\" for ground, Giacomo was the 2nd slowest horse going in, go figure. This race is a total toss.

Looks like they all bounced miff. Looks like a toss, but gotta be impressed with CA and Bellamania they have a future. Alex is a gamer and provided he stays sound he\'s the standard right now. The apocalypse horses will be back. Look for redemption for Bandini if hes healthy and composed.
Alex owes me money!!!
lol
