Title: Jeremy Rose
Post by: Bally Ache on May 05, 2005, 01:24:46 PM
I don\'t want to be accused of being a Jeremy Rose fan but he should have allayed some fears.  He just took the short way around on a 20-1 shot in the 8th at CD.

Saw it different, he did not save ground until it did not even matter, though I am not that familiar with TG way of calculation stretch runs but shifting in the straight away from the 5 pathto the 1 path from the 1/8th to the finish should not matter.  Here is the chart

ALWAYS NOBLE, within striking distance always and five or six wide into the lane,

I only saw the race from the eighth pole home but you could see that horse was going to win (the announcer didn\'t see it till almost the finish).

He wouldn\'t have got up if he didn\'t come up the rail.

Yes probably, was just noting that it was hardly the short way around, this horse benifited from other handicapping factors, the ground loss did ot hinder him at all.
