I think everyone knows Bellamania is owned by George Steinbrenner, who also owns the Yankees. (Its good to be King) Sometime ago I posited the theory that if the stars are aligned properly Bellamania may go the way the Yankees go and if they Yanks could get over .500 ball by Derby time Bellamania would be a Karma bet.
At the time, the Yanks were 4-8 and George shook them up with a \"Pep\" Talk. (I\'m assuming it was the typical Donald Trump pep talk: \"Produce or you\'re fired\", George isn\'t a Knute Rockne type.) Anyway since that bad start the Yanks have gone 6-7 and have a current record of 10-15. Theres 6 games between now and Derby post time. The Yanks have to win all six, but four are against the lowly but hated Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The Yanks have a chance for the Karma to reflect favorably on Bellamania.
