Spoke with Cash is King \"press agent\" Anita Saint Clair.. Rose will ride Afleet Alex in the Derby. He\'ll be on \"At the Races and Beyond\" tonight at 9:15 to talk about it..

Zito got Stevens to commit to Noble Causeway, Nakatani to Andromera\'s Hero, and Prado to Sun King. Just looks like Ritchey was out of options.
What about Pat Valenzuela? He\'s only a few light years better(as a jock) than Rose.
Yeah, PVal might not have been a bad choice. He\'s won it. Hes cool as a cucumber. Hes not bogged down in the traditions of the game. He finds a path and he can still ride. I\'d of tabbed PVal. If Alex loses 3 lengths on wide he could have saved and gets beat 2.5 the trainer should never be given another horse.
I\'d never give a horse to this trainer.
Regarding Rose,it is probably the owners call.I watched Rose get in trouble with this horse on more than one occasion. The explosive finish by AA (11.4 last eighth)stamps him as a very dangerous horse come May 7th.
I wonder why AA has added fronts last three starts. Did anyone hear Richey say AA was running down? carrying heat up front?
According to DRF, Frankie Dettori would have to be released from prior commitments to Godolphin to ride Wilko in the Derby.
With my future investment in Wilko, I\'m hoping Frankie will be in Europe on Derby day and Craig Dollase reaches out for P. Val or maybe even my old pal \"Iron\" Mike Smith. That BC Juvie jinx has to end eventually, why not this year?
P. Val\'s only Derby commitment would be to Back Door Bob Baffert\'s Sort It Out, who needs to win the Lexington to have a chance of being the second horse in two years to go from the Inner Dirt to the Derby.
Chuckles, I\'m taking any of your observations about race riders with the proverbial grain of salt. Ever since you took a swipe at Channing Hill, he has done nothing but win and is currently the second leading rider at AQ.
Speaking of AQ, temps in the 80s and a couple of turf races will whet the appetite for the upcoming 100th anniversary Belmont meet. I\'m heading out for my Wednesday routine: car wash, sandwich from Jimmy\'s Famous in Sheepshead Bay, and a couple of stabs at the two Pick 4s.

May not be exact but this is the last week of work for Channing Hill. I Got him winning 4 of 28 races,(14%), which coincidentally is his average for the entire meet:
http://www.nyra.com/chart/jockey.asp?track=A
Hes a bug rider so note the significant weight he is receiving. All this inquiry did was confirm what I stated before. This Jock does not know how to go inside and unless he learns a little \"Pat Day\" on his speed pops when the Bug disappears so will he. His average win rate is about what it was with 7 pounds.
Wide isn\'t a good place to be unless you\'re on the best horse with lots of weight. C. Hill is proving it.
He won rating and going inside race 1 or 2 today. But your entitlled to your opinion.
