Title: New Top
Post by: tb on May 13, 2002, 10:47:14 AM
TG,

I have been following the horse Seneca Falls in New York.  She had run five straight 11\'s and then finally set a new top with a 9 last time out.  She was claimed in that last race and ran on Saturday at Philly.  She ran second in that race and appeared to have some trouble in the race.  I am curious to know if she might have bounced off that 9 or do you think she could still be improving.  Is it a good sign to finally get past the 11\'s and do you think she will keep this  form or will begin to start tailing off.    I am curious of your opinion.

Regards
tb

Tim:

Finally breaking through the 11\'s is a very positive sign. Did she bounce off the 2pt move? Wellll, I\'m no Philly Park fan, but a shade under 1:49 for 8.5 is sllooooow and none of the others had a very positive line. Taking 6/5 on a filly not to bounce is not the way to bet. Fillies in the spring can empty out your wallet in a hurry.
