Has anyone scene the two new products they are offering? Something called Breeze Sheets which includes a speed fig and attempte to assess class and a DRF Quick Sheet. (Copies Equibase product to some extent).Seems like a slight move forward but geez when is technology finally going to prevail in this industry.Opinion\'s?
When ar ethey going to finally use GPS/Chips to assess ground covered during a race to acurately assess a Past Performance? When are they going to use wireless technology to bet on racing?
When are they going to provide better Video angles?
I won\'t even get into Drug Screening and or Surveilance.

I hate to defend the DRF, but none of the issues you raise is under their control.
The other issues I was speaking to were industry specific and not with the DRF inparticular. Someone needs to champion the issues and the DRF could be one vehicle since they are one major voice.
I for one don\'t want accurate timing/ground loss/etc. Let\'s keep it the way it is. No need to give away every edge people willing to do some work might have.
Wireless technology is already there...NYRA has a wireless site for PDA users as well as BRIS/Bet America works fine on Palm web enabled devices!
I\'ve used it for awhile!
