Then why don\'t you do it!
The horseman, owners, fans, etc. all have a right to know. Now.

From the paper which coined my favorite headline, which has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject but which I like to shoehorn in every now & then, comes a pretty good list of suggested reforms from Ed Fontaine:

Not sure the underfunded CHRB, which seems to devote a great deal of its time & resources to making sure no Calif resident gets a rebate, can be counted on to do anything meaningful on this or any other important subject, given that they couldn\'t suspend PVal, & they never took, & do not plan to take, any action against trainer Monteleone\'s blatant fraud:

Time will obviously tell, but the best hope for the future might be the former federal antiterrorism official who will be replacing Berube at the TRPB in April.
P.S. Solid job on the rotw. I gave GA a little better chance, 4-1, after adjusting for what I think is a favorable pace scenario, but the biggest difference was Quest, whose chances I might have underrated a tad at 132-1. He\'ll get another long look before the late pk4 commences. Best of Luck.
Derby, thanks for taking JB up on this. I enjoyed your well-written analysis. Like Mall, I\'m more favorable on GA and even more on FF if he\'s >9-2. I\'m also taken with Mall\'s headline, which, as I consider my plays for today, conjures up this thought,\"Headless handicapper keys top-less horse.\"
Thanks also for the book recommendation. Just yesterday, it was recommended by a fund manager I respect. Good luck, raz
Chris, us native New Yorkers have a somewhat different reaction, which is that this guy needs a slap. The trainers in question weren\'t naughty, they were committing a felony. People bet real money on those races, and if California is witholding information, they are witholding evidence.
Fountaine is good, I enjoy his work with
The Post and in the past with Bloodhorse.
My favorite Post headline was above a
picture of Sean Landeta and Lawrence Taylor
on either side of Dolly Parton, who was wearing a blouse which concealed very little.
The headline: \"Check Out These Giants\"
\"The Arafat Lady Sings\" on the day of Arafat\'s funeral was a little edgy even for
me
