CH raised a question recently in response to someone\'s post, asking which circuits Beyer had out of whack. I posted way back around Kentucky Cup day that they had the Ellis horses too slow, and if you look at the Sunshine Millions you can see some other examples-- notably Fair Grounds horses, like Santana Strings (co-second fastest on ours), and the $44 winner of the 3yo filly race (significantly the fastest, won despite a 4w trip), that Beyer has way too slow compared to the SoCal horses.
Lost In The Fog was coming from Turf Paradise, and he exactly paired his TG number. Santana Strings was coming from FG and Haw-- he exactly paired the numbers he ran at those places. The third finisher was coming from Calder, and he ran 1/2 point off his last (a top), despite stumbling at the start. The 3yo filly that won ran a little off her top.
Thanks. It\'s interesting that Beyer\'s computer system has not caught this kind of problem yet.
