Title: GP today

5th..... winner nobodys listening had a nice pair of buried \"5\'s\" (including last turf race), making him attractive there, especially from post 2 in a huge field.

I just looked at it, and boy you ain\'t kidding. Buried grass # good enough to win, followed by a dead rail (X) race.

I knew I should have handicapped today.

you probably would have tossed Host in there in the feature. \"2.5\" last, against a 93 beyer, pays $25. second place horse had a nice buried #, but his lone turf # was a bit slow, i couldn\'t use him.

Navesink River was the lone speed in the race, who waltzed through easy fractions.  With a 1w1w trip instead of 2w2w in lone turf outing as well as potential improvement in first start at 4, I thought he was a must use.  Huge exacta made up for Marwood\'s tough beat on Saturday.

the key to NR was probably the turf course. he just glided over the firm surface with no problem, while he tired a bit over the heavy going the race before. i boxed host and the two frankel horses (thought at least one of the two would run very well). i agree, NR made some sense, but you can\'t use them all.
