Doesn\'t look likes theres much in here to influence the Triple Crown, but they\'re still moving forward.
One of my great handicapping weaknesses is the Texas/Oklahoma circuit. I really don\'t watch those races and I don\'t do well on them. A good horse can come from anywhere but I\'m not generally high on Texas and Oklahoma breds and the Beyer numbers I\'m looking at tend to indicate these guys are not running real quick yet.
Major League - I dont think his off pace style was ideal at Delta\'s bullring from the one hole, but you\'d figure he could find a foot at some point and he didn\'t, finishing last.
Kansas City Boy - I hate maiden winners, but rarely have I seen a maiden find a softer spot for his stakes debut.
Silver Haze - He looks a little better this year. Maybe the blinkers and off tracks helped.
Biloxi Palace - I heard the trainer say after the last \"He might not of liked the track\". Well its the same track hes got to run on Saturday and he won on it impressively the previous race. (Granted mud) Maybe the trainer meant to say the surface itself was quirky for some reason that day, but he didn\'t elaborate. The horse won, but I get the sneaky suspicion hes more Mining than Seattle Slew.
Smooth Bid - I like his color. He\'s grey like his daddy and granddad, but having Dad\'s hair is only part of the equation. He\'s slow per Beyer. He\'s shown a little late fade and he was wasn\'t much better than Silver Haze.
Storm Surge - Unless White Mercedes pays some visits this horse doesn\'t appear to want top company after two pretty significant collapses. He\'s got one thing going for him, he caught a field of prospective dogfood.

wow, TGraph goin at em early with the ROTW

Their figs are very interesting, kinda put Beyer in his place..and me too. That pedigree work on Biloxi was very good.
Pedigree Query has some gaps apparently. No race record for \"Prima Green\", TGraph has a 5 for him:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/index.php?query_type=check&search_bar=horse&h=prima+green&g=5&inbred=Standard&x2=n
and a statement that \"Real Royal\" was \"unraced\" Tgraph has 10\'s for her.

Biloxi has a half sis named \"Real Cozzy \" that was second in the Kentucky Oaks, running a Five it looks like.
Biloxi\'s second dam is the dam of \"Real Quiet\".
TGraph points out a little breeding angle I missed right off. Seattle Slew on top of that family history looks good. Its gonna be a question of is it. Definitely shakes the initial impression. Did the horse pull himself up?

Ringer, Ringer off the bench
The race that looks more likely to impact the Triple Crown is the San Rafael. Theres three pretty nice looking horses in there and one that may be. Chips are Down, Spanish Chesnut, Texcess and Kirkehdahl, who looks like he\'ll have to learn to ration speed. Dang they all got similar running styles too. Baffert and Douglas got chips off the pace last time. With these you can start to see some significant names in their company line. Small field but good race.
Dang Baffert paid a lot for Chips are Down. Am I reading that right 460K? Distorted Humor over Housebuster mare. Looked a little closer this time, best thing about the mare is shes \"close\" to some very good old blood.
