Title: It's Gonna Be A Long Day
Post by: TGJB on December 10, 2004, 10:42:22 AM
I\'ll get to the stuff on this board in pieces throughout the day, but first a few quick points about the nonsense on the Rag board.

1) My condolences to anyone who made it through the mobius strip of Indulto\'s \"prose\". I\'m not going to waste time wading through that incomprehensible drivel to find the imaginary points, so I\'ll just say this-- a few weeks ago, after he made a big deal about Deceptive Posting Practices, I asked him if he had ever posted on this site, and if so under what name. He spent over 1500 words not answering, and when I blasted him for his hypocrisy, he disappeared from sight, only to return now with more inanity as if it never happened. Make of that (and him) what you will.

2) Lots of words over there about my posts. None of them address the questions about the Ragozin errors with the BC ground or Derby beaten lengths. Friedman\'s in-passing comment does not-- it\'s a diversion. Tell us what ground you used for those horses, and what beaten lengths you used for the Derby.

LOTS of intellectually honest guys over there.

3) Before they changed the Rag board, I told Friedman publicly several times that if he deleted the attacks on me I would have no reason to post there, and when he first announced the board change, I said it would be instructive to see how they handled posts about me. There have been something like 10 posts about me on that board in the last 24 hours-- Friedman has no problem with it being used to attack me by any anonymous non-entity with a keyboard. He just has a problem with those taking the other side-- this is what he described as his \"high road\".

I tried to read the message board over at Rags...now that would be a long day.  They should at least step into the 90s!  How do you follow anything?

The entire site is awful, are they really that cheap not to pay someone who could do a better job?

I don\'t think their site is really set up as an instructional tool. Additionally, there was very little pattern read and figure method discussion. Most of what went on there was \"Johnny Bronx\" saying:

I\'ll take the 2-5-7 inda third, wiff a double box back box.

Oh sure the host occasionally reviewed a stakes race and called two thirds of the field and made no selection.

They still have an ancient photograph of Hot Wells up. ...lol
