Both of these runners have one thing in common. They both won the race AFTER the Derby the last two years. Ragging Torrent it was his coming out Party that day and he also beat Jefferson Street who came back in this short meet and fired a big negative number. BTW did anybody notice Doug O\'Neil is now a 9% Trainer.....hmmmm
Patch Adamas gave Cox I believe his only winner for the weekend meeting.(Correction he won a 1X Thursday also) Congrats to him and Winstar. I did not have Patch and the Seminar was high on him and Madaket Road. So nice Exacta there. I did not have it even though I knew Patch was talented. I thought the price was low on him as he went favored off that paired 2YO Top and looked EXPLOSIVE. My concern was how would Patch run leaving the comfy confines of Churchill Downs and ALL THOSE resources Brad Cox is allowed to use there. How smart is he and how tough is he.
BTW Pletcher had one winner all weekend too. The days of Baffert (or anybody) showing up and Winning with 4 horses running HUGE Tops is OVER. Something healthy is changing. Lets keep it up....
Was that the slowest Met Mile in history? Raging Torrent 94 Beyer and Fierceness bounces to the sky w/90 Beyer. Nobody showed up.

Grok says the Beyer was 106. Did they change it?
Yes, you are correct, 106. The original Formulator chart had a very slow race- they must have corrected it.
