Title: Belmont Recap-That Was a Strong Drive
Post by: Silver Charm on June 07, 2025, 04:23:26 PM
Went from 2 down to 2 up in about an eigth of a mile.  Againt a good horse know for his burst to boot. Going into the first turn this horse was LOADED. If he stays sound who knows where we go from here.

Tell you what, Mott doesn\'t make a lot of mistakes.

Journalism traveled about 2 1/2 lengths further, on a fast look. All those people who think Rispoli screwed up trying to save ground in his previous three probably think he got a great trip.

If Journalism survives this, Travers will be pretty interesting.

Junior Alvarado gave him an \"attaboy\" congratulatory taps on his neck,  and he started to stretch out even more.  Impressive animal, and a picture to boot.

Journalism ran great also on 3 weeks rest and third race in five weeks.  Kudos to the connections. He has a nice turn of foot, which I would love to see on the turf. Sovereignty is just better right now.

All 3 TC races ran to form. And the TG figures were spot on. I use almost every commercially available pace and speed figures, and your product stands out. Good job guys.
On to the Haskell and Travers. Let\'s get East Avenue home tomorrow,  hopefully at a price. Need to recoup some funds from all the data. Tg/equibase/brisnet/drf/timeform-us and all the other reports.

I get FOMO during the Triple Crown and get anxious that I might miss something. It\'s maddening at times.

I can\'t see Burnham Square getting beat in the Matt Winn unless another horse stops in front of him again.
